Looks like the coffin stone training paid off. Well done, Tom! What does your effort mean in ranking or place at the event?

Thank you, I had trouble getting comfortable with the 300# stone when I was warming up so I was not sure what to expect with the 360. Next time I'll just need to move a bit faster and I think that I should be able to go 250'+.

I finished in 7th overall in the 105 Kg Pro class, and since it was our Nationals I guess that is my 'ranking' for 2012. This was my first time competing at this level and so I was pleased with the outcome... especially since I was in the top 5 after day one.

My plan for next year is to do a couple of local events as a HW Amateur and then compete in at least one Pro-Am before LW Pro Nationals.

I have not heard about any Pro-Am contests for next year, other than the Arnold.
