Is it true that increasing water intake will improve protein absorbtion? I take in a lot of water now, but am just curious.

Yes, your body needs enough water to transport the protein into your system smoothly. Not to mention water keeps you healthy by providing all the minerals and other great stuff :)

IS there a formula for water intake? mL per pound or something?

Just drinkat least 1 gallon of water everyday. If not, At least 10 tall glasses of water. I am using that bottle bought from GNC which shows the exact amount in ml and ounces. Everyday I drink about 6-8 x 600 ml.
Recent studies (all over the news) have shown a persons "required" water intake to be quite a bit lower that what was thought.
Obviously, if you perspire a lot your consumption should be higher, but under normal circumstances the 8 x 8 rule would no longer seem to apply, nor does the argument some present which states, only "water" counts as water intake.
Personal preference . . .
