Hey! Today’s recipe is for low carb and sugar-free protein brownies! Iv’e experimented with plenty of low carb brownie recipes and most of them come out dry and lack flavor. These are by far the best protein brownies out there! They are moist, chocolately and delicious! For all you vegetarians and vegans out there….these are perfect for your dairy-free diet as well!

1 Cup Ground Hazelnuts

1/2 Cup Vanilla Protein Powder (I like Elite Whey)

3 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1/4 Cup Safflower Oil

1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Cup Water

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Baking Soda

1/2 tsp Salt

3 Packets PureVia

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Grind hazelnuts in a food processor

3. In a bowl combine the dry ingredients (ground hazelnuts, protein powder, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder salt and PureVia)

4. Grease a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and spread out the dry mixture

5. Pour the vinegar, oil and water over the dry mixture in the baking dish and mix well with a fork.

6. Place in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes

7. Let cool, cut into 8 pieces and enjoy!

These actually look really good, but you must be fat as phuck eating this stuff all day. :clown:

Do you have any pics or vids? I'm wondering how this kind of approach to dieting is working for you.

Sure! You can go to my site www.sinorslim.com there's an article there on the keto diet and an "about me" section as well

i think your glutes are lagging. any comparison shots?

I agree. My lega and glutes both! Lol. That was in the summer when I wasn't working them out. I've been going heavy to put some mass on my legs ever since. Let me tell you it's not easy trying to go from skinny legs to bigger ones without getting fat! Lol

Are you squatting? Could just be that your form is off. If you were to post a video you'd probably get some feedback that may help you out.

Yeah. I've been focusing on squats, lunges and dead lifts mostly. I also started adding dextrose to my protein shake post workout. I'll try to get some recent pics up soon. My legs have definitely become more defined but I'd still like them a little bigger (without losing my abs). Any advice would be awesome! Thanks guys!

Front squats could help...They were the success of my summer stomach and leg development.

Preferably, the video should be posted in tight fitting clothing to properly judge depth, obviously a singlet is preferable, but any kind of tight short or legging will do. Back angle is a necessity and so is a side angle. You have to remember to go all the way down for best results, but video feedback would really help imo. Good job on the dieting btw, good recipee.

Back to the brownies....

Those look great. You think ground almond would work as well as hazelnuts?

12-05-2011, 08:06 PM
Yup im sure it would! If you try them like that let me know how they come out so I can try it out next time!
