Impressive, do you think you could break your 1000 lb squat record by at least 50 lbs now?

Amazing.
Was it to a box?
Reason I ask is you go down under great control, hit a point and dip down pretty quick and recover just as quick. Wondering if that was going down and off the box or just your ability to pop out of the hole.

there was a box, set at his parallel point, with a thin (2 inch) foam pad on top. We were using a new camera, so the angle was off a bit. We'll fix that in the future.

Rob's not saying it, but we had been working those sets with a brief pause on the box. If you watch the video closely, Rob didn't really pause like we had on previous sets, he was thinking he had to go deeper than the box was, kind of jammed himself at the bottom, went forward, then recovered and stood up.

I tried like crazy to beat him the next set with 1110 (in briefs), but couldn't do it. 1030 was the limit yesterday. It was a good day.
