I'm 5"11 and around 143-144lbs (64-65kg). According to a calorie calculator I used i should be consuming 3000 calories a day, to gain 2lbs (0.9kg) a week. Does that sound right?

A calories calculator is not going to give you an accurate number. You need to keep your diet the way it is now and calculate how many calories your eating. If your weight doesn't change then that's your maintenance and you increase and decrease from their to lose or gain weight.

Also two pounds a week is a lot of weight to gain so quickly. The amount you gain will mostly be fat. Your so skinny though you probably wont mind until you get into the 180 range. I know when I was that skinny it didn't bother me but I was just trying to get bigger in general not worried about fat/muscle gain. I also cut very easily bulking is very hard for me.

Agree on keep track of what you eat normally for a few days. calculate the calories and take the average. Whatever number you come up with add 500 calories to it (so if you currently are eating 2500 per day, you would move it up to 3000). If you are not gaining weight or are not gaining weight as fast as you like, add another 500 calories (same example you would increase from 3000 then to 3500). It is also important what, when, and how much you eat at different times, but that is the most basic way to start with.
