I'm curious to why I get the most energy for my workout if I eat brown rice prior? I have eating other carbs and pre-workout shakes. I eat the same amount gram wise but it seems brown rice really blows all the "other" carbs away. Is there a specific reason for that? Thancks.

Likely it coincides well with the time before your workout.

i couldnt tell ya why that works better for you. I agree with behemoth on this one with it being based on the timing of the meal and your workout. i personally always like to have dextrose right before and during my workout with some whey mixed with it.
