Can someone help me. Im 175 5'9 and need to lose some fat. I was woundering what are some good foods to eat. I want to eat food that will help my abs comeout. Im currenly doing chicken, low carb protein bars, oatmeal, brown rice, what are some other sources of pro's and carbs i could eat. I know cottage cheese is too high in sodium. Let me know what yall think.

Salmon is good, I hear...I eat it myself.
I also eat cottage cheese, seems fine to me.
Veggies as a source of carbs is good.

Really, you can eat about anything, if done in moderation, and lose body fat. You can also overeat on the food you listed and still put on body fat.

I think you'll be OK on the sodium front. Drink a ton of water. People here eat 3 cans of tuna a day. That's amost 2000 mg of sodium. My CoChee has about 400mg per serving.

Don't be afraid of taking in some fat.

If you take in too much sodium you will lose definition. It will make you look fat. When you say eat in moderation what do you mean. Like how many calories? I dont really like going by calories too much. I just have a portion of protein and carbs every few hours. right now im doing cardio three times a week and weight training everyday since im on 1-test. I Really want to get chiseled. ANd i know there is certain foods that are so called ab foods. Just need a little help finding them out.

Add more EFAs and remove more carbs. That's working GREAT for me.

The key to any diet is watching cals. I knwo you said that you don't like to do that, but it is what is important to losing wieght. Cardio will help out a lot as well

If you want the abs to show, you gotta watch the cals...eating under maintenance and cardio is part of the cutting process.
How many calories should a beginner, with no maitenance level, take in?
Right now i do this:
8:30/Whey W/ Water, 3 eggs, oatmeal
12:30/chicken breast, veggies, rice
4:00/Chicken Breast, veggies
6:00/Whey W/ Water, Oatmeal
10:00/ Whey W/ Milk
