So obviously you want consistency, i.e., your starting pics to be in the same pose/lighting/etc as your ending pics.

Is it better to have a "pump" when you post your pics, so that if you're asking for someone to give you an approximate guess on BF% you can see vascularity better.

Flexed/non flexed?

You answered your own question in your first sentence, consistency. If you flexed and were pumped in your before picture, then do the same in the post; vice versa also applies.

Right, but in regards to gauging BF% is it better to have a pump so that you can see vascularity better?
