looking for a guesstimate on the carb range you would suggest given my stats
5'10
175 lbs
~11-12 BF
weights M W F (4-6 rep range 6-8 sets including warmup)
cardio 3-4 times a week, HIIT training
looking to lose some BF, and try to maintain muscle and strength as best possible. thanks.
Try converting all of your carbs to wheat and oat sources. Sugar should only be in the form of fruit. I cut up nicely while eating 300g of carbs each day. Just keep every meal consistant - Don't eat 80g of carbs one meal, and then 15g with your next meal. Shoot for a set amount with each meal and adjust your diet accordingly. Aside from my before bed meal, I'll consistantly consume 50-60g of carbs with every meal. Before bed, I only eat 1 slice of wheat bread with my meal - 14g.
To give you something to benchmark against, I weigh 205 @ about 9-10% bf and eat about 8 meals each day. I'm trying to gain weight, so my carbs are at about 400-450g daily or 60g per meal. I'd reduce this by 1/3 if trying to lose some bf without muscle loss.
