If this works here is video of my 830 all-time over 50 single ply squat done in Arab, Al. at the SPF Alabama Championships on 2-25-12 weighing 286 lbs. Also included is my 750 opener - 800 - 830 record - 900 near miss 4th attempt. The 830 edged out Ernie Frantz's 826 from the 1980's in the USPF done as only a 220! The photographer moved to a better spot for the 830 and 900 miss. 1st 2 are partially blocked by Big Wade's big back! LOL!

Just wondering, since I've never known: what is single ply?

Single ply bench shirts, suits vs. multiple ply being allowed. I like doing meets all 3 ways each year. Single, multi, raw.

Thanks UncleAl! We had another fellow older guy there who was 77 and putting up some really good #s. Can't recall his name but the meet results are already up at the SPF site if you want to check.

Awesome. Good for me as a guy in my 40's to see that I have no reason to quit for a long time to come!

Thanks! And I appreciate you saying that. It was Ernie Frantz and Brian Meek's accomplishments after 50 - 60s and more that kept me believing I could keep improving through my 40s and 50s when everyone wanted to tell me I was too old to be doing this. I'm happy if someone keeps going in this sport because of something I did. Like passing on what Ernie and Brian passed on to me. Thanks again!
