This low shit sucks LOL. It makes you feel so week. Its all relative though I guess. I miss the days of repping 700+ with wraps.

Im not sure. I know at this lighter body weight I just cant muscle up weight slike I could. Especially with the super stiff elieko bars in the USAPL. Im gonna do sumo until the meet then re-evaluate. I do like sumo now more then ever though. It get s alot easier after 2 months of keeping at it.

Have you noticed any carryover to your squat from doing all this sumo work?

Hard to say. It has only been about 2 months now and my training depth has been overly deep. My meet is the 20th so I should know by then.

Scott, why overly deep?

Now you just have to learn to bounce out of the hole like O-lifters... No, don't do that unless you start REALLY light.

Im hoping that ill get some carry over come meet time when I squat 2 inches higher. I tried the bounce a few times and didnt like it.

Scott, I like the idea of dropping deeper than usual. This is exactly what I'm planning on doing after my meet on the 30th.

I'm with you on the bouncing thing, too. I've toyed with it. I always end up pitching way forward.
