View Full Version : How do I progress on Pavel's Power to the People?

This program looks exactly like what I've been looking for; that is, maximizing strength gain without BB mass.

I've already planned out my routine and all, but what I'm still unsure of is how to progress. Linear, wave or step(name?) progression. I don't know which is the most effective.

If anyone out here could give me a hand and tell me how to progress on PtP I'd appreciate it alot.

just add weight when you can. Not everything has to be that complicated

Do linear until you stop making gains from it, than switch to wave.

Thanks, oh and should linear with the bench press go up in 5 or 10lbs? I assume 5, but I thought that if my starting bench only got increased by 5lbs and I started at wave then I wouldn't even surpass my 5rm.

5, always use the smallest jump you can, you'll make longer and hence bigger gains.
