to add more fibre to my diet, ive strarted replacing my oatmeal with a high fibre bran (all-bran), but after reading the label, the carbs read as per 100g: 50g carbs of which sugars 25.7 and of which starch 24.3. whats going on here is this bad for me in terms of insulin surges. i always thought sumthing like this was alright

Its probably not really all bran. You can get better bran cereal than that. I eat fiber one, 14g of fiber per serving 0 sugars and 10 other carbs(starch).

granted 14g really isnt necassary at one meal, but its the best cereal I have found for that function and tastes really good.
