View Full Version : which way is the best??
I m 5'6" and 160lbs with umm..10%bodyfat i guess and have some fat around abs/waist(from alcohol vefore i start workout)..
but I m still want to gain huge muscles seriously..
which one is the best way??
1.bulk-up first and lose fat later??
--or--
2.lose fat first and gain only lean muscle??
please reply me asap..i m really need in help..
I would focus first on building up lean mass
With a greater amount of lean tissue in your body, you can burn fat at a greater rate when u get onto your cutting cycle.
If you tried to lose the fat first, you might end up losing muscle mass as well. It'd be akin to trying to burn fuel with a smaller engine - it'd take more time
hope this helps

carb/protein/fat?
Real food works better than supps. Anyone else on this board will tell u that too. I used to think otherwise, until i got my senses knocked into me
around 200/260/50 i guess
Bulk up first. Qea is right, you will be able to burn more calories at rest if you have more muscle on your frame. Also, if you are drinking it is going to be more difficult to cut anyway, so unless you are going to give that up for a while I'd definitely go with the bulking.
