Flaxseed oil is a better source, I think . . . there's others that know a whole lot more but my naturopath is big on getting the Omega-something fatty acids in proper balance and all that... flaxseed oil is pretty good, hempseed oil is even better, I think....
Overall I'm a big believer in maintaining adequate fats as one of your macronutrients.

Kroger, GNC, any healthfood store.
I'd recommend 1 TBSP a day at minimum. It can range in cost from $.99/oz to $2.00/oz too, so it gets expensive.
You can buy flax at most grocery stores as well. 2 Tbsp/day is plenty assuming you probably take in fat from other sources as well.
Also, I believe that almonds are the healthiest nut.

I use Canola Oil, it's pretty cheap.
Peanuts are good too and tasty !
I read somewhere .45g of fat p/lean pound of weight.
