I will be working out at about 6:30am for the month of July and I need something to get my butt going. Any suggestions on what to eat?

Well, before workouts you should get proein and slow carbs. But another rule says that the first meal of the day, is supposed to the be the one with the most carbs. This is ofcourse a tough cookie, cuz some people cant eat to much before workout. Personally, when i work out straight after meal 1, i eat a big meal. Your blood sugar is so low after sleep, that if you dont boost it, your body will eventually break down muscle tissue in order to get energi for your workout. How much you should eat depends on your diet ofcourse.

1 or 2 cups of 1% milk and an apple. gets you going.
