Background:
I'm a 25 year old male trying to get back into powerlifting.
Growing up, I've always been quite sporty, abeit skinny. 4 years ago I took up powerlifting and absolutely loved it but wasn't very good- took me a bit over 2 years to hit a 550 squat, 300 something bench and a 528 deadlift at around 220 (equipped, in an ipf affliate).
Life, however, does take its toll on you- a move to a different country, working in an extremely stressful job and various personal issues made me stop training for about a year and half.
So here's my journal (hopefully) documenting me training to regain and hopefully supercede my previous strength levels.
At the moment, training will be really straight forward- 3-4 full body sessions a week, depending on my hectic schedule, all with moderate weights at a medium rep range. Nothing fancy, just 1-2 main lifts followed by some assistance work.
Will update after my first session later!
