what's with all the creatine?

You'd be better off having the tuna for breakfast and the isopure for post training - as nasty as that sounds.

I ate tuna for breakfast for about 6 months.

Nasty pasty.

05-12-2001, 11:06 AM
loading the creatine, today is the last day of that ill be loading. why tuna in the morning? anyone else?:) :D

05-12-2001, 11:23 AM
you don't need to load, just like you don't need to cycle.

05-12-2001, 11:42 AM
yea i only did two days b/c of the mixed opinions i've heard about loading. Im done now and only taking it once a day.

05-12-2001, 11:52 AM
That diet looks very good. I'm impressed :)

The only thing i would do is add some carbs in the last meal, 30-50g.

I would also add a little more fat, about 30 additional grams on the total.

05-12-2001, 11:59 AM
yea but what kind of carbs do you think i should add (from what source?). You dont think thats too much protein?

05-12-2001, 12:05 PM
I would add some oats, or another low GI complex carb.

Nah, the protein is fine.

05-12-2001, 01:13 PM
I think the diet looks good. Good ratios/calories with the breakfast/post workout meals (2 most important meals of the day). I agree with the carbs in the last meal ... green leafy vegetables would be a good idea.

05-12-2001, 01:32 PM
ive heard that the body can only deal with around 50 grams of protein at a time. any truth to that?

05-12-2001, 01:35 PM
Put veggies some broccoli or cauliflower in least 3 or your meals

05-12-2001, 01:42 PM
Grand Totals-3576 calories, 70 fat, 279 carbs, 383 protein (too much?????)

70 x 9 = 630kcal
279 x 4 = 1116kcal
380 x 4 = 1520kcal
Total = 3266

um.. are u sure that it is 3576kcal??

05-12-2001, 02:48 PM
lol, well I was until your post. hmmm, im gonna look over the piece of paper i had everything written on, maybe i copied something wrong. Anyway, regardless of that, are you in agreeance with everyone else? or do yo usee something else? :D Once again guys thanx for your posts, keep em coming, I've had much difficulty with the diet thing.

05-12-2001, 04:10 PM
hey bro, your protein intake is to high. Are you currently on a cycle of AS? I assume you're not, therefore lower it man, your body doesn't need that much...thats a fact. I'd lower it to about 250 or perhaps a little less. As for the carbs I'd raise'em a little bit...perhaps to 300?? These aren't magical numbers of course, but I do know that your protein intake is to high man. And the creatine CAN be loaded, but it doesn't have to be. There are a few different ways to take creatine. Hope this helps some bro. ;)

same opinion as mutated Spider that sucked gear up...
Too much protein..
u weigh 150 and take 380g??...
take about 1.5g of ur body weight and that would be "PLENTY!"
others would be just turn into glucose to used up as carb, turn fat or u pee or poop it out..
Since protein is usually more expensive than carbs.. why dont u just eat carbs instead of that??
Raise ur Carb to 350 .. drop ur protein to 250..

05-12-2001, 07:31 PM
hahahah..funny 'bomber. ;)

05-13-2001, 07:23 PM
oh man, ok, so raise carbs. and lower protein, in which meals should i lower the protein? sorry if im bein a pain, im apparently much better at cutting than bulking. lol. :D :)

05-13-2001, 09:02 PM
Meal 1,3,5,6
Cut protein down to 40~50g..
dat will cut 120g of proteins down..

as far as carb goes,
increase it in
Meal 2,3,6
bring it up to about 50g

05-14-2001, 01:47 AM
IMO ..... too much protein.

05-14-2001, 05:59 AM
I disagree with some of these guys in adding 30-50g of carbs into meal 6. The purpose of bulking is to gain weight, yes, BUT all those carbs are just gonna turn to fat. I hope you heed my advice, and if you need more carbs add'em to other meals. :D

05-15-2001, 03:56 PM
Thanx for the help guys, im gonna try and take your advice and maybe get it right this time, 3 times a charm................................maybe. :D

05-16-2001, 07:00 AM
I just had another glanced look and... ur carb count is lower that it actually is tuttut

for example..

Meal 1-764 calories,17.9 fat, 67.6 carbs, 82 protein.
-Isopure Shake
-6 eggwhites w/2yokes
-1 cup oatmeal
-Grapejuice (creatine)
-Flaxseed Pill

Isopure = 25g carb
1cup oatmeal = 54g carb
1cup grapejuice = 24g carb

Meal 2- 488 calories, 8.1 fat, 27.5 carbs, 42.6 protein
-1 can tuna
-1 Bananna
-1 Plain Bagel

What size is ur bagel??????
Banana it self is at least 25g carb!!!

05-16-2001, 11:13 AM
Looks pretty good man...BUT, ditto what these guys said about the protein....I'm on a keto diet, and 70 lbs heavier than you, and that's about how much I'm getting....You can go for about 400 carbs a day...and don't be afraid of the junk food...

BTW, what part of long island are you from?

05-16-2001, 04:35 PM
hey dabomber, the ISOPURE shake is only 3g carbs. the grape juice is 42, and the oatmeal is 27. Or at least thats what the information says. hmmmmmm, on the things and about meal 2, thats my mistake, i copied it from my piece of paper wrong the carbs I have there are really 57.5. Sound better? Once again thanx for takin the time to reply guys. :) :D

05-16-2001, 05:24 PM
He's trying to gain lean muscle. 100g of carbs post workout if he trains hard isn't a bad thing at all. Personally I must concur, get some carbs in your diet... maybe some more essential fats and lower the protein.

Don't be afraid to eaaaaaat. I get scared sometimes, but then I look at myself after I've done cardio, and say:

"Damn! That Somalian is much more buff than you."

It motivates me. :D
