I'm looking for any comments/suggestions for my diet. Currently, I'm trying to lose a little fat around my gut, but I'm not trying to cut or anything, I'd probably lose too much muscle if I tried that. Anyway, I'm doing the six small meals a day thing. Here is how I've been eating recently, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Meal 1:
Rice Krispies with skim milk
3 egg whites, 1 yolk
Glass of OJ
Meal 2:
1 Banana
1 granola bar
Meal 3:
Salad containing 1 chicken breast, 2 eggs, fat free ranch dressing
Meal 4:
Smoked turkey, 2 slices wheat bread, 1 slice fat free cheese
2 sticks celery with some of the same fat free ranch as above
Meal 5:
Whatever is for dinner that night -- usually some kind of chicken or beef and potatoes, and a vegetable.
Meal 6:
3 egg whites, 1 yolk mixed with 1/2 small can tuna.
These meals start at 6 AM and I eat about every 3 hours. I am at work from 7:30 to 4:30 so I have to bring three of these meals there everyday, so keep that in mind if you have any suggestions for me.
Background -- I'm currently about 5'8" and I weigh almost 160 lbs. I'm not fat, I just have that little bit around my gut and I'd like to see my abs for once. I've been working out for about 4 years, last summer being the first time I tried the original wannabebig routine.
So, is this diet the right one for what I'm trying to do ya think?
Thanks!
Brian
