Trained today.
Diet:
breakfast - eggs
lunch - missed (!)
snack - egg noodles & chicken
dinner - chicken
(lift & cardio)
after lift - egg noodles & chicken
lifted: deltoids
got 135 lbs military press and 3 solid sets of 70 lb. ea. shoulder press, not bad.
ran 2-3 miles after workout. I am trying to drop some fat in the next week or so. I think I'd look pretty freakish with about half the bf I have on me right now.

I have begun cutting today. I am now on a 2000 kcal/day roughly 15%/45%/45% fat/protein/carb diet.
I did not implement the diet yet today fully as I don't have everything I need and I am out of protein.
-- morning cardio --
lunch: tuna
dinner: tuna + bread
-- evening cardio --
haven't eaten yet. trying to burn off that %bf.
today was a lifting rest day, will lift tommorow.

After one day of cutting I looked in the mirror this morning and the difference is striking. I look a bit smaller, and I have a 6 pack (i had 8 last year just because I worked so hard -- landscaping) starting to show better. I have an ultra-fast metabolism so changes happen fast on me.
Anyway, if progress keeps up like this I think I will stop this cutting in two weeks or so. I want to have an ultra-cut basis to gain mass on. I have never dieted before. So when I start to bulk again, I will do it with a good diet, and so the results should be a lot better.
Thanks for the support rookiebldr.
Off for my morning run now.

wow..i have a 6 pack now? how does it happen so fast? in 2 days?
i went to gym and was able to keep all my weights, although i was only able to get 2 reps at 225 on the bench, that was my only drop, but considering how much I'm eating (2100 cals), this is still pretty good..
--morning cardio--
breakfast: 2 eggs, milk, bannana, .5 whey
lunch: tuna w/ crackers, .5 whey
after lunch: .5 whey, orange juice
-- lift --
postworkout: 1.5 whey, grape juice, two bannanas
dinner: tuna w/ bread, 1/2 whey
--evening cardio--
1/2 whey soon

Third day of cutting.. Instead of doing cardio in the morning I went to work to move boulders around. Much more strenuous.
breakfast: whey, 2 eggs, bannana
-- landscaping --
lunch: whey, tuna, crackers
after lunch: whey, orange juice
dinner: whey, tuna, bread
-- lifted -- (straight-leg deadlifted 295 lbs.)
post workout: 1 1/2 whey, 2 bannanas, grape juice
-- evening cardio 4 miles --
hour later: 1/2 whey
I get lean really fast if I diet. I think I have a pretty fast natural metabolism. It looks like you are the same. One of those "hardgainer" things I suppose.

Yeah, I think I am going to cut out the morning cardio. I am just getting too lean too fast. -- Aaron

This is the way I looked last year. I didn't do any cardio or dieting. I just worked and lifted. I didn't even know how to lift, I went and lifted 2-3 hours everday. So i look pretty funny, but I kinda like the abs. I was 16.

Today, worked, ate a bit more, I was getting too lean.
Felt sick, couldn't run in the evening.
Good lift though.

I got most of my abs back now..
Stuck with the diet with the addition of raisin bran and a normal dinner (chicken, etc.).
I still run twice a day sometimes, but focus on the evening run.
Last night I ran 3 miles at something like 5 mi/mile pace.. I'm starting to love to run. eep.
Yesterday: Good, good workout, run
Today: Good, rest day but did obliques, i have to go to the gym just to go, run

I haven't been to the gym in two or three years.
Just remembered that I used to be a member of this forum. Surprised my login still works. The post above was in 2002.
I keep telling myself I'll get back, but everytime I get close to doing it I lose motivation.
