Hi, I am a 41yr lifter who started lifting about a year ago. I have gotten good gains, however, I wanted to know if there were any supplements that would help boost test levels and increase my gains. It seems because of my age that my gains take an extremely long time to come. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to your doc, and ask the guy to check you out. Tell him that you are feeling unmotivated, sad all day, lost of strength. He then might run a test on you and if you are low on TEST he will prescribe you some Test, and its much better than anything you can buy at GNC. Hell if you got the cash tell him you want so GH too, they will send this just on request, but expect huge prices. If you want some over the counter go with 1-AD, 4-AD, 1-Test they seem to work pretty good, you might even get better results.

Slydeflex, my 31 year old friend is taking Mag-10 (a combo of I think one or more of those above hormones) and has experienced enormous strength increases within a few days.. We still have to see if any size gains will result from his strength increases...

I use 1-Test-X, and have great results. I live in the LA area and get it at Muscl-Max, they may have a web site...however, i don't know the address.

I actually like zwarrior's idea... HRT is something that a lot of bodybuilder types don't look into... if you're 41, with free test levels below 350ng/dl, (or maybe even slightly above), you could probably persuade your doctor or endo to at least put you on a low dose test replacement.

everyone under 22 listen up!
You don't need and won't benefit from 1-test, 1-ad, mag 10 etc, etc. You have more testosterone running through your body than those things could ever produce.
A 14 or 15 year old male is not usually going to get great gains quickly because he's still growing taller! You can build muscle, but since you are probably growing bone as well, you'll be limited in how much muscle you can grow. Don't worry about it too much. There are, of course, people who are genetically gifted who get both quickly (height and muscle), but that's the exception. Also, the HGH that body builders take is generally in doses that bring a 30 year old man to the natural HGH levels of a 18 year old so that may not be much of an option either. Especially at $10K+/yr
If you are in that age category and want to be huge, you'll probably have to look at real AS to give your body that edge. At that age, you should really think about how much you want to screw with your bodies natural production of hormones because your body is still developing and it may not ever produce properly if you screw with it too much.
And you are producing testosterone at 15 yrs old. You looking at girls? Then you're producing testosterone :D

Tiare,
You really seem to know what your talking about...
I'm 16 and still growing, will taking N-LARGE2 2x per day mess up my hormone levels??
Thats like 16,000 mg Glutamine (one serving N-large about 8,000)
do all those aminos mess me up???
The ONLY other supp. I take is ZMASS (zinc and magnesium) that is totally natural way to raise Testosterone levels... can that mess up my testosterone output?? I thougt since it was zinc and magnesium it couldnt....
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGTS ON A STILL GROWING 16 YEAR OLD TAKING N-LARGE AND ZMASS???
:help: :help: :help:

wtf? Would the people under 20 please stop hijacking the thread? This is a topic for older lifters, please, if you wish to discuss proper supplementation at 15 or 16, start a new topic.
Thank you.

What about DHEA, isn't that supposed to help once you're over 40?
Oh yea, for you 16 year olds, don't take DHEA, I know from experience :)
