View Full Version : WHAT are some FREE foods that i can eat while cutting.

Hey. I get these crazy hunger earges while cutting, and theres no way ill cheat, but is there some free foods out there i can eat that wont put anything into me, like popcorn, or something.?????

Any help would be great.

Tunas not a free food. I mean food that has no nutritional value. So if i have a set diet, and i eat this free food it wont change a thing....I know popcorn is one of them, like 1carb 0.4protein and 17calories or something.

Some vegetables. Broccoli... lettuce... they have calories, but they fill you up a hell of a lot. Green leafy lettuce with balsamic vinegar.

How about those plain low fat rice cakes,???????????????????

That equation just doesn't add up.. But anyway, popcorn has quite a bit of carbs in it per serving.

SORRY, my gf eats the sugar free jello. I just know its has to be bad so I don't want to look b/c its good.

3 words, "baby carrot sticks", go to the produce section and pick yourself up a little bag of them, these carrots will absolutely blow your mind dude, plus they can be considered a "free food"

KenShamrock I've got a question for you. Are you on a low carb diet? If so it should be high in fat. You say you're getting really hungry while cutting, but when I have done cutting in the past I don't allow myself to get very hungry because I consume a lot of fat. For example one of my meals would be a can of tuna, natty peanut butter, a block of cheese, and several almonds. I have seen too many people try to cut while keeping only protein high (therefore they cut the carbs AND fat out of the diet). My point is this, if you are (as I assume) on a low carb diet make sure you're getting enough fat.

almonds is a good source of EFAs...I dunno if it is a cheat food.

1 oz of almonds have 14g of fat and 170 calories. They are good fats, but they are calorie dense so I wouldn't go binging on them. I have 2 oz every day and I love em, but they fit in my diet plan.

Free food? The only one I know of is sugar free jello, suckapants, I used to eat GALLONS of that crap when I was on my CKD fattening cycle.

Popcorn isn't a free food. Rice cakes are ridiculously high GI so that's another bad choice. You haven't said what your diet is so it's impossible to help you out. If you're low carb like Clark said you've gotta be high fat. As far as "sugar free" foods, in my opinion they aren't fit for human consumption, or any consumption for that matter.

Read what I said. I said sugar free products, those containing splenda, aspartame, and any other artificial sweetner are unfit for consumption. This is my opinion. I would never put that **** into my body. I eat Jello, but would never, ever touch sugar free Jello.

is jello the us version of jelly, cos it is a wicked food if it is, especially if it is no added sugar

One whole pack yields 33cals, 16g protein, 1g carbs and no fat, sounds like a quality cutting food to me.

almost pure fiber, has a little protein, has minimal carbs

2 large stalks have a total of.... 20 calories

you will burn more calories eating and chewing it than you will in its consumption, and it's full of water

you CAN'T go wrong unless you put peanut butter (which is not bad but not what you want)

Salsa is a zero point item in the Weight Watcher Program. I'd suggest seeing what else it a zero point item there and maybe you'll get some good ideas. And no I don't follow Weight Watchers but I know people who have.

Green beans aren't bad, they have minimal carbs, which is mostly fiber, and they fill you up real well.

US has jelly...Jello is just what it is...a gelatin dessert, sort of fruit punch in solid form.
