Any one heard of this?? My protein powder contains this 'colostrum growth factors, and the label claim it will increase muscle growth, speed recovery and help muscle maintenance. Has anyone heard of this colostrum stuff? It says on the label it was proven to work in clinical studies, does anyone know if this is true?

Has anyone tried it and found it made a difference?

Colostrum is what new mothers excrete from their nipples during the first few days of breast feeding before the breast milk comes in. It is full of nutrients, since a baby's first few days of feeding are the most important .

About 7 years ago "Colostrum" was the big thing. In supplements I believe it is derived from a cow, not a human.

In short, I don't think it does much good. I read things on it way back when and all reliable signs pointed to no.

oh so it doesn't work....oh well....shouldn't do any harm drinking this protein shake....there may be the slightest chance it does work.
Thanks, WannaBeStrong, for the answer to my question.
