Which do U use more in your diet and which do you feel is better for your protein needs....I personnaly hate chicken unless its fried with a greasy crusty coating..( southern thing i guess) anyway I eat about 2 lbs of lean red meat a day..in lean steaks and lean ground hamburger..after my workout i have my shake then 30 minutes later i eat a pound of 95% lean hamburger fried in oliveoil...along with 2 baked potatoes..i dont care for chicke really if its baked or broiled..what do yall prefer??

Our freezer is full of venison not chicken, so that's what I'm always eating. I'm very tired of now and chicken is a delightful treat.

I had a steak for dinner tonight, pretty damn good. Anyways, I think read meat gets expensive after awhile, I usually get a box of skinless boneless chicken breasts for cheap. It's got loads of protein and like nill fat, so I'm content.

I like chicken. I can make lots of chicken dishes, but fewer steak dishes, so that plays a role. If the two were priced the same, I would probably buy each half of the time.

If you can afford it, I like eye of round steak better than chicken breasts. It only has a few grams more fat. The only problem is in my area it costs $2.99 a lb while bonless skinless chicken breasts are only $1.69 lb.

The pain in the ass is that all kinda meats , if you have to get like 180g proteine a day , are expensive
Thats the worst case for me.

I just bought a house , and having to eat alot of meat/day costs enormous with all other expenses covered.

One day with good food is expensive ! Thats why i think there are alot people that fail to do it :(

:offtopic: Warning.

But outta curiousity, I wanna know just how many of you guys have sat and stared for a few seconds at NSX's avatar of the bouncing boobies? It cracks me up.

Oh and I prefer beef over chicken but enjoy both of them. More so than fish, that's for sure.

corned beef is even cheaper.

39p for 340 grams. 25 g protein per 100 grams.

so 3.4*25 protien = 85 grams protein for 39p.

=0.45p per gram of protein.

chicken is generally more exspensive than that.
