i was having a look at the slim fast tin my brother has.. and per serving (30g) it has 15g of carbs (sugar) .. i was thinking, would this be orrite to have as a post workout shake, with 50g of whey, and 60g of this slim fast with low fat milk? it would add up to be around 60g protein and 40g of carbs.. n id also have a banana..

Slim fast is milk with sugar added. I'd just stick to the shake and low fat milk.

You'd perhaps want more carbs postworkout, closer to 80 or 100g.

yeah more carbs 75g is a good figure ... and you don't what milk. Only Whey.

Right milks 80% cassein protein (which is some of the slowest absorbed) when that mixes with whey it's going to dramatically slow down the absorbtion of the whey. Stick with whey and water.
Btw what amount of carbs would you guys reccomend for a 2700 calorie bulk?
I've been taking in about 50g, perhaps that's not enough?

50 g of carbs on a bulking diet :\ wouldn't even do that on a cutting diet haha. maybe im just reading it wrong eh

hrrm.. i started taking my whey with milk a week ago to try and get some sugar into my post workout meal.. lucky i posted this up.. the milk slowin the absorption of the whey slipped my mind..

I think he means 50g post-workout. If not I think he means "I want to stay tiny."
