I was wondering what would be the affects positive/negative of taking a multi twice a day (morning and evening). Especially on days I do serious lifting and cardio?
Can this help/hurt me?

Exactly what kind of benefits would I see from it? Better recovery? Better endurance?
Isn't too much of certain vitamins and minerals a bad thing? That's what I've heard but I tended to doubt that...

First off... all you need is ONE multivitamin.. it should be taken with whatever meal has the most amount of fat in it.. so that the fat soluable vitamins can be absorbed... too much of some minerals and vitamins is dangerous (especially too much iron).. so just stick to one per day. However most ppl do not get enough zinc because the RDA of 15mg (which is what is in almost every Multivitamin) is not enough for serious lifters (because they require more).. so an extra 10-25 mg of zinc gluconate can be taken before bed (DO NOT TAKE WITH MILK as the calcium will fight for absorbtion with zinc...) hope this helps...
