1. Extra fiber added to a meal slows our insulin response. Correct?

2. If #1 is true, the more fiber eaten with a carb-based meal, the less detrimental effects the carbs will have in terms of possible fat storage. Correct?

If #1 and #2 are true, then is it safe to say high fiber plays a strong role in accelerating cutting diets?

If those are true, yes. Fiber has other beneficial effects too.
