You can obtain dextrose at home brewing stores as well - it seems to be difficult to come by (if at all) in health food stores.

A question about this article:

Do people really "buffer" their post-workout shakes, i.e., drink them slowly over a period of an hour or more? I thought that getting the protein into your body after workout was an immediate priority.

I don't know if people do that or not but according to the article you should. I will try to do that as soon as I get some dextrose and kool aid. :cool:
