What do you guys think of Myoplex?

Tastes good but is pretty expensive. What are your goals in a shake?

Calories? Protein? Low carb? For bulking?

Just as a supplement. (snack)

Do you think Myoplex is better than MetRx?

I havn't tried MetRx, and in terms of a low-medium calorie meal replacement the Myoplex's are great. Try adding 6-8 ice cubes with some milk and blend it all together... makes for a tasty milkshake and the milk adds more protein/calories.

It's a science so be careful.... it takes just the right amount of water or milk and the right number of ice cubes, as well as the right amount of time in the blender.

Myoplex Chocolate Lover Pack is terrific. The strawberry is pretty good too. For both I don't even need to add any milk, just water since it's very thick aleady. Just a shame it's so damn expensive (cost about 100+ bucks in Singapore)

IMO, Myoplex is far and away the best tasting shake. You can get good deals at www.easdiscount.com (http://) .

their excellent post workout.

primarily maltodextrin and whey protein. Add some extra dextrose to the shake, and your all set.

BTW, where does everyone find shakes of other brands for less than say $60.00, for which 42 Myoplex can be found quite regularly on a variety of supplement sites?

you can also use regular whey mixed with dextrose and save yourself a lot of $$$

I find alot of EAS's products overpriced.

Where do you find them that you feel they are overpriced? The EAS website? GNC?

I know if you look long enough online you can find anything cheap...but it seems everywhere I see EAs its overpriced for what it actually is. (theres almost always something better cheaper)

ps-I noticed EAS's ECA stack Betalean has gone down alot in price...but thats only because theres so many other ECA stacks that are selling so much better

That was my original question. What and where are these better and cheaper MRP's?

The ones I bought at the start of this month are Fuelplex @ $12 per case of 20...and of all places that was at GNC.

That's your problem. If at all possible, do not shop at GNC. Although that is wicked cheap as those retail for $59.99 according to www.affordablesupplements.com. Were they on sale, or was it Gold Card day?

i like myoplex best.

and i've tried isopure (gag) and labrada (fair to middlin'). only problem is i wish myoplex had a vanilla/chocolate/strawberry combo box. that would rock my world. even more so if it was the low-carbs.

I don't usually shop at GNC but I caught wind of that sale.

At my normal place (some good earth nutrition store)I almost always find what I need cheaper without having to buy anything from EAS.

They do have a v/c/s variety pack...I can not find it listed separately anywhere online, they just say "variety pack," but they do make on, I have bought it in the past.

really? i haven't been able to find that anywhere...the tropical variety packs and the chocolate lovers packs yeah..but never a v/c/s.

i got labrada's instead...but they aren't as good imo.

hmmm I've never seen a mixed c/v/s myoplex except in the 42 packs. Never seen it in the 20pks or the low carb ones either.
Some stores mix them though don't they? And if they don't, tell them that they should!

i wouldn't mind getting a c/v/s 42-pack. i might have to talk to my people about that.

I don't know. Here is what I use and how much the cost.

EAS L-Glutamine, 2.2 lbs $49.89
EAS Simply Creatine, 500 grams $13.49
EAS SimplyWhey, 5lbs $28.89

Myoplex is expensive, but so is everything else that comes in packages or capsules.

How does MetRx compare to Myoplex?

SkinnyPupp

Myoplex is like drinking cake mix.

MetRx is a bit better, but IMO tastes too much like aspartame... Blex...

Just make your own.. Throw some fruit in a whey shake and you're set. :D
