You should have read the 'anti E's are ******* expensive' post, f00. You would have seen Tadger's post:
Originally stated by the above mentioned person whose name I have forgotten
Aromasin is similar to arimidex, but with a few differences. Arimidex binds to the aromatase with very high affinity. It simply occupies the space so test can't bind there. It is not permanently attached and can become displaced leaving the site open.
Aromasin (Exemestane) permanently alters the testosterone binding sit rendering the aromatase pretty much useless. Test physically cannot bind to it anymore so estrogen production is very strongly suppressed. The only drawback is that Aromasin is usually terribly expensive.
They both work. Or something.

Nolvadex blocks estrogen at the receptor because it has a higher binding affinity for the ER.
Arimidex is an aromatase inhibitor, less aromatase means less testosterone can be converted to estrogen. 1mg of arimidex lowers circulating estrogen by 76% so estrogen stays in the normal range on cycle. This limits side effects like edema, feminine fat storage, changes in blood pressure, and so on.
Aromasin seems to work better than arimidex at limiting water retention.

Aromasin seems to work better than arimidex is limiting water retention.
Rephrase that, would you ST? Is Aromasin better at limiting water retention than arimidex, or are you saying that arimidex's virtue is that it limits water retention?

My mistake for not re-reading what I posted Budiak. After a two hour ride back from long island I just wanted to get some sleep.
Both arimidex and aromasin effectively limit water retention.
Aromasin works better at this because it can decrease circulating estrogen. Arimidex inhibits the formation aromatase enzyme so while limiting water retention it cannot affect already circulating estrogen.
