I'm not sure if I'm getting enough protein, or if I'm having too many carbs for breakfast.
Here's what i have:
6 egg whites
about 300ml skim milk
100g of Fruit n'Fibre, or Cheerios
that should add up to about 27-30g of protein, and around 80-85g of carbs.
im currently bulking, but i think the cereals i eat have too much sugar. is it ok to have about 20g of carbs in the form of sugars for breakfast?
also, since breakfast is ur first meal after 8-9 hours of sleeping, dont u need a fast absorbing protein source? is milk ok or should i have whey instead?
what do you guys have for breakfast? im lately getting a bit sick of eating this every day, so i would like to see some alternative meals for breakfast.
Thanks
Stray

So breakfast? whats breakfast? It s certainly one of the most important meals of the day guess why? You have been in a state of fasting for a peroid of 8 hours or longer and your body is craving for nutrients. Therefore your aim is to supply what your body needs!!!
Carbs
-------
The liver can absorb 300 - 400 calories of glucose that / 4.2 turns out something around 90gr therefore one should aim for 90 grams of carbs in the morning this can be achieved by supplying complex carbs like a mixture of all bran and oats. Why all bran? All bran has more the double the quantity of minerals the oats posess so some oats and bran will be fine. I also like to add 20 gr of raisins inthe morning. No Milk just water.
Protein
---------
I usually eat some eggs, yogurth and a protein shake
Fats
-----
Keep it low i usally take only half a tablespoon of Olive Oil
Aim: Moderate Protein, High Carbs(COMPLEX) , Little Fat

ok thnx for the posts guys.
majsi98, i do have about 80-90 grams of carbohydrates for breakfast, but the only problem is that i still have another 6 meals a day, (with my post-workout meal consisting about 80g of carbs), so i find it a bit difficult to restrict my carb intake. (im aiming for 300g of carbs a day)
i find it hard to eat about only 20-30 grams of carbs for each other meal except breakfast and post-workout, even a tuna sandwich has about 50-60 grams of carbs in it. other than MRPs, i dont find it easy mixing food to give me that amount of carbs with a good amount of protein.
what do your other meals look like?
