I just purchased some 100% Whey protein from GNC yesterday and took 28 grams after I worked out because this is what it said on the container. But is this sufficient do I need to do more or less? And should I take it on off days? Should I take it just after I work out or couple different times a day? Thank You!!!!

I usually take a scoop in the morning and one after I work out, sometimes one before I go to bed. It depends on how big you are and what your metabolic rate is.
how much to take over the course of the day is going to depend on your own nutritonal requirements for your goals. you can surely consume whey with any meal that's lacking in protein.
