How much is enough? I take a tablespoon a day.

ideally you should have about 33% of your fat's come from polyunsaturated sources (omega 6's and omega 3's fatty acids), 33% from monounsaturated (omega 9's fatty acids), and the other 33% from saturated fats (animal fat, etc...)

Now, within those 33% polyunsaturates, a 3:1 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 is preferred (actually 2:1 might be even better). Flax seeds/oil is a predominately omega 3 fat source... so find your total caloric intake from fat each day... multiply that number by .33 and then again by .33 to get a rough idea of how many calories (not grams) you need of omega-3 's... if you want to know it in grams... divide the final number by 9 and there you go, your required flax source in grams... you don't have to be exact as different sources of food for your meals will have varying amounts of different types of fats... for a simply answer, I would use 1.5-2.5 tablespoons (unless you are a very big guy and/or have a 4000+ caloric bulking intake :)

Don't get all your EFA's from one source. Use flax, olive oil, natty pb, hemp oil etc...
