are you as big or small, whatever the goal was, as you thought you'd be? I, personally, have been working out for 3 yrs and at first, like most people, had good quick gains. After a year or so it plateaued and no more gains . Recently I started noticing some strength gains thank to the advice I've gotten here. Now I just need some size.

well, when I started working out 3 years ago I didnt think I was going to make it to the stage I am today.

I started out :
Age : 14, 1/2 years
6,1
67kgs
14%
arms : 12-13inches

Today :17 1/2 years
6,3
105kgs
15%
arms pumped, measured today : 18,3 inches

my best gaines came just in the recent months with eating tons of tuna and oatmeal.

I started a while ago, stopped due to injury, and now I just started back again. I'm right on track as far as gains are concerned.

~my current height
125 lbs
Benched maybe 135, didn't know what a squat or deadlift was.

This month makes that four years; the results are in my sig.

I'm certainly pleased with what I've done, but far from satisfied.

I started about 2.5 years ago. And I've gained 80 pounds. I'm definately bigger now than I imagined I could have been when I started.

I started maybe 3 years ago....didn't have a clue in ***** what I was doing. Basically just screwed around. I would really only say that I've been working out 1.5 years though. Actually knowing what I've been doing.

That looks so much like my stats. I started out at 125 lbs and now weigh 160 lbs. I'm happy I made it this far, but would love to hit 180 soon. I guess I'll get there some day.

Make the active effort to hit 180. Get motivated and eat up a storm.

I eat 6 times a day and workout regularly. I'm very strict on my schedule, but since school started again it's getting harder. I'm going to try a new routine soon and start creatine again. Of course any input is welcome on supps or routines.

I'm only tiny because I don't care that I'm tiny.

Supps and routines are overated. Diet should always come first thing.

I started working out in April 1999. So that is a little over 3 years ago. I weighed about 150 when I started (after losing down from 180 lbs. of fat) and am currently at 185 lbs.

My goal isn't to be freaky big. I'd be more than happy to one day get to 195 with 8% bodyfat and be able to maintain that with my training and nutrition. I'm only 5'9".

Joined my first gym at age 13 (totally against my will my parents made me). Was about 135 lbs when I first started. The heaviest I've ever been is 6'0 255 lbs.

My goal is to be totally symmetrical at 240 @ 8%

But let me add that if I could get to even 205 and still have my bodyfat down with my abs still visible and good lean muslce look could still be maintained....then heck, I'll take the 205!

I'm happy with the gains I've got, both in looks and strength, but are they what I wanted/expected? No. I expected to be huge and perfect after three months of working out. I thank the media and misconceptions of gym rats for that dream.

When I started I was fat thin (no weight/no muscle) and weak as can be. Definitely happy with it all when I look at that.

Still got a ways to go before I get the body I want, but hopefully I never will get it. I think I'd hate being satisified. Here's to ever changing goals.

Started out maybe 6 years ago and put on around 50 lbs. I guess. Something like that. Strength has gone through the roof. I mean truly just out of control strength gains, especially this past year.

I can't get over the gains I've made, getting into weights like everything else for me was a spur of the moment thing and I had no conception of how seriously small I used to be before hitting weights.

8 months ago: Cyclist
wgt: 60kg (132 LBS) (probably about 8-10% bf)
Benched 1 rep: 60kg (132lbs) ....but was able to cycle long distances.

Now: Quit Cycling since mega acccident.

wgt: 161.7lbs (13%bf measured)
Bench: 1 rep: 105kg (231 lbs)
5 reps: 95kg (209 lbs)

Today: 6', 170 pounds. Db press 100s 4 times.

well I started about 5 years ago, I just quit smoking ciggerettes and doing drugs (weed, acid, mushrooms and a little coke) and my body freaked not having all the goodies it was used to, so I ate my cravings away, I got to the point where I weighed 211 lbs and was in the 40% range for bodyfat, I was a pig!, so I dicked around with the notion of lifting and after about a year or so of just messing around with them I got serious, set out a 3 day split
and worked it, I want to be gigantic but I dont want the problems that come with steroids, so I figure it will be meny moons before I see my goal but thats ok cause I am not going anywhere, but to this date I dropped from 211lbs@46% to 172@19.5%, I still have a belly but its tiny, and its going away, after I get rid of it and get to aprox 8-10% bodyfat I am going to bulk but very carefully, so I wont get back to where I cant see mr. happy anymore, I am happy with the gains I have made, but I allways think I could have done better so I keep trying to do better

i started out at about 246 lbs which was when i first joinned wwb, now i'm down to 185lbs. I still have some major work to do, quite a bit of flab, hopefully i can sort that out and gain some size, muscle would be nice this time though. I have my army fitness tests on thurs and fri, so i guess i'll see if all the cardio and loosing weight paid off

Been lifting off an on for 15 years now, but until 2 years ago it was secondary.

In High School it supplemented Track and Wrestling

In the Marine Corps I was hardcore but you can't really bulk when running 60 miles a week, and they dont allow you to get over a certain weight.
