Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with Lipoderm-Y? I used Yohimburn before with decent results, but as I've been searching and researching (I guess some of us newb's DO look stuff up before asking questions), the differences between the two make a lot of sense and it appears that L-Y is superior (even though they're kind of the same thing).

Another question is, on the Avant Labs site, they mention that insulin (production?) affects the effectiveness of the yohimbine, and that a ketogenic/low-carb diet is ideal for this. Is that more of a subjective thing, or is it a pretty general statement? I've gone low-carb for too many times and I want to wean myself off that for weightloss and try a more traditional cutting diet, so I'm just exploring my options.

I've used Lipoderm-Y with good results. Par recommends it generally not be used unless you are <12% bodyfat or have VERY bad fat distribution, as it's not very cost-effective otherwise. I ignored this advice and used it during a period when I went from about 16 to 13 or so. I tend to carry a disproportionate amount of fat on my legs--particularly for a man--and applying it there had a noticeable effect. Applying it to my lower back/love-handles and abdomen did not have nearly as noticeable an effect, which was probably due to the a lower concentration of alpha-receptors. Although, when I applied it to my abdomen it resulted in mood elevation/mild euphoria(This is not common, but does occur in some. I get the same thing from oral yohimbine) I was very pleased with the product, and will use it again once I get my bodyfat down a bit more.
