I am referring to Amino Acid Tablets, they're white oval and fairly large for a pill.

I used to take these a lot when I first started working out and had good results. My reason for taking them was because of a book I read stating, "to fully utilize protein all the necessary amino acids must be present."

Im thinking of taking them again, any opinions? Any one take them?

I can't say they are a waste. But it is much more economical to use whole foods and protein powders.

Now taking BCAA's is a different story. They are a bodybuilders best friend, you can never have enough of them...

Worthless.

Almost any protein--other than gelatin, anyways--will have ''all the necessary amino acids''

B&I:
Will a good Whey Protein (I take 2 scoops of ISS Whey Mayrix post workout) have enough BCAA's in it for me?

If not, LAM: What BCAA supplement do you suggest?

Whey is quite high in BCAA's(leucine, isoleucine, valine) Supplementing with extra BCAA's is unnecessary(and is fairly costly), but if you're dieting may help a bit.
