Since I won't be lifting very much during the season should I still supplement creatine? I think that I should because when I play basketball now I feel like I have an edge, and I can run faster, jump higher...
Creatine helps to buffer lactic acid, I would continue to take it...

basketball was allways my best sport and if for no other reason because of my ability to explode with force
wether it be a crossover dribble and a burst of speed to the basket or getting good post position and finishing with my back to the basket most plays in basketball are short ie: under 10 seconds I think creating would be a valuable supp
I would take 5g's before and 5 after

I wouldn't take it, but if you do decide to continue, drink lots of water, not gatorade, not powerade, water. Creatine dehydrates you fast, you need a lot of water, especially if you are running like that!

I think I can take care of the water problem. But I think basketball is also an explosion sport, and I think creatine would really make a difference.

Last I read, anymore than 6 grams or so and you're just pissing the rest out.

I keep hearing this on this site
I say for the cost of the powder stuff from Prolab I don't mind flushing some of it

Haha no kidding, I've cut my dosage of creatine but I can tell it's helped, I score about 12 points a game right now starting

Hehe, I don't think it helps you score...but you won't get fatigued as easily.
