View Full Version : Who knows Nutrition.....Help a fella out.

I just started working out (last three weeks). I'm 5'9 and 135lbs.

Been skiny all my life, part of it is I'm not a food freak, too lazy to

chew. My goal is to put on around 15 to 20lbs by spring. My

question is can some like me gain muscel by keeping a 2,000 to

2,500 calorie intake with about 200g of protien a day. Oh yeah,

all I can bench is 70lbs. Don't get me wrong I'm serious about

working out, I got to the Gym 3-4 times a week. I'ts the eating of

six meals a day I'm not to extatic about.

I'd say 2700 calories if you're that skinny. If you see too much fat gain, lower it by 100-200 calories.

200g of protein sounds about right if you do a 30f/40c/30p split @ that caloric level.
