hi...
On Thursday I purchased 3 products.
1) %100 whey by Optimum (5 lbs)
- That's the 3rd time I ordered this, I just can't make up my mind to try something new when it comes to whey. 99% of the time I hear how it's great so, I just didn't have the guts to try something that I'm not sure if I get results from. Plus, I like it too :)
- I usually take it first thing in the morning, mixed with 1% milk, Banana and honey (1 scoop), it tastes very good, btw I got the Vanilla flavour. I also take it right after my workout with gatorade powder. (Do you think it's better if I order a big bag of Dextrose?)

2) Pro V-60 by Labrada (3.5 lbs)
- I finally got a night time protein powder. it's a good mix of night time proteins.

3) Interactive, Glutamine Stack (300 g)
- I haven't had glutamine for about 3 nights :(



so, what do you guys think?

Yes, get some dextrose for post-workout. it will last a long time if you get several pounds...

Yeah, two or three pounds of dextrose will last you a long time and its pretty damn cheap.

what is the word on the nighttime protein powders? they seem damn expensive at the places i've looked online...worth the money?

I would definately go witht the Cottage Cheese. Also if you have a bulk barn in your town. That is where I get my Dextrose. Definitaley better than the crap that they put in Gatorade.

LMAO at all the "I just bought...is it good?" threads. Why is it that no one does research or asks questions BEFORE they buy something? Those are good purchases though.

I buy my dextrose from those do-it-yourself wine making stores.

PF is way over priced on their dextrose. You can get it at your local homebrew store for about $1.00 to a $1.50 a pound. You can also get maltodextrin cheaper than PF at your local homebrew store.

If you're drinking regular pre-made Gatorade, yeah, find something else, like pure dextrose. If you buy the powdered Gatorade, though, its main sugar is dextrose. If that's what you've been using, keep using it. If not, it might be easier (and more tasty) for you to get that instead of searching all around your town for some bags of pure dextrose.

If you do search online, if I remember correctly, supplementdirect.com had good prices on both pure dextrose and pure maltodextrin.

Damn (or as Cal likes to spell it "DAMB") that site is great, I will definetely be ordering from them when its time to re-stock my supps.

"Homebrew" guys.......not alot of those kind of establishments around central Texas, so I think I'll go with PF, they're a hell of alot cheaper than any retail supplement store even with shipping.
