i just came home after a week from college for a night and i stepped on the scale and im 10lbs lighter than the last time i weighed... the differences is my carbs and fat cals vary but i still get 300g of protein aprox daily sometimes more... however im not able to drink as much water as i used to but i still drink a lot.. what are some reasons ive lost this weight ... it cant be very healthy weight loss

Glycogen stores depleted and water loss. With all that protein, I don't think it can be very much muscle loss at all.

maybe scale is broken... 10 lbs of water weight is a lot... i would think u lost some muscle if u lost 10 lbs in one week... check the scale if u ask me..

for my first week of college i have eaten horrible or more so not at enough! i haven't seen a scale in a week, but if you haven't been drinking too much beer i am gonna have to tell you to check your BF% and see if that went down!

yeah i'd say its water. I know I have lost 8lbs in one day before, all water.


BTW, never depend on the scale as a measure of success or failure.

i've only lost at most 4-5 of water most........ but hey i could be wrong... get your bf% tested...
