Okay...my goal is to gain weight
So i've been talking to some people in the gym (they are not qualified in any way..just some friends) and they said to me that the Weight Gainers are best than Protein supplementation.
What do you think of that?
Better yet...being a newbie in this kind of nutrition, what do you guys think it's the best supplement for me? I've already taken creatine and had some gains...not much in weight but more in strenght.

I think the thought or idea is this.... If you are underweight and have a really fast metabolism, low bodyfat, then the weight gainer might help you because it has alot of carbs as well as protein to boost up your daily caloric intake. But if you have no trouble getting enough calories in, and you just need some more protien, than the weight gainer would be a waste, go with some whey protien.

To gain weight you need excess calories! If your not gaining weight than your not getting enough calories! If you can't get the calories from food than a weight gainer may be the way to go! Be careful because most weight gainers are poorly designed!! By that, i mean they contain to many carbs and sugars and not enough protein! Most weight gainers do not contain enough protein! I have 2 suggestions for you! Either mix a meal replacement like Lean Body, Met-Rx, or Myoplex in 16oz of milk or try a weight gainer like Cytosport's Cyto gainer, Twinlab's Mass Fuel, ISS Research's Gainer Matrix, or Worldwide's Size-up.
