View Full Version : 15lbs in 5 weeks. (help)

I have to gain 15lbs. I eat six times a day including 2 meal replacements. I have protein, cards and veg for every meal. I recently added a chicken breats to my breakfast of oatmeal and 5 egg whites. I lift first thing in the morning, the only time I have. I traine so hard that if eat I puke. I wake up have a protien shake with water then again right after training and then breakfast and the rest of my meals. What can I do? I'm stuck at 155lbs but I'm getting stronger every work out, but not bigger.
I'm 155lbs and I can bech 315lb, people look at me weird at the gym:eek:

Why do you need to gain it in 5 weeks? I can tell you how to gain 3lbs of fat/week.
If you're 155, I'd eat about 4000 calories a day. I'd call it a mistake though.
Don't workout on an empty stomach. Get up 1/2 hour early and eat something that is quickly digested (like a protein shake if you must).
I am 155lbs and I can bench 42lbs. My cats look at me funny.

instead of chicken eat beef use milk instead of water, except post workout and add fat into your meals use EFA's and cheese
why do you have to gain 15 lbs in 5 weeks ?

Im in a similar position to you except I dont have the five week time limit. I dont count calories, I simply eat more and try to keep it clean, but your fat intake has to be bumped up for weight gain in that short time doesnt it. Creatine is effective at creating lean gains, ive gained strength since starting it but due to my clean diet my weights gone down. Im sure that kind of weight in that time frame would mostly be fat and water.
Thats a good bench. Im at 158 lbs and can bench 240. Like you I would love another 15lbs of bodyweight. Which should give me a solid 250-260 bench.

Since I broke my back I have been looking for a bit of motivation to get back to lifting.My wife showed brought up the idea of the Body For Life contest and I figured what the hell. I can use this as a push start into getting started in training again. So I am two weeks through with 10 left. 5-6 weeks to bulk up and 5-4 weeks to cut. I can get cut pretty fast but I can't bulk up as fast. After I am done with this I will start another bulk phase for about 5-6 months. I am going to wake at 6 am just to get all my meals in and so that I can have something before I work out.

Fats. Have olive oil with most meals and eat plenty of steak.
