On days that I workout I take mine directly after I workout with my post-workout meal. At this time you have a better chance of absorbing more of the pill. Generally only about 10-15% of one Multi-Vitamin is absorbed in the body under normal conditions. However, after workouts your body is NOT under normal conditions and will suck up anything you eat. Thats why I take mine after I lift. Hope this helps some. :)
I usually take my part in the morning and part after i get done working out.

If you take fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E) with a meal that contains some fat, they'll probably be absorbed better.

Bs and C are water soluble and need to be consumed on a regulare basis. take 2000mg a day of C in 500mg tabs spaced throughout the day. A D E timing is not so important, but remember minerals and vits are lost in sweat.
