I am curious if while doing the Atkins diet if Flax seed oil will provide enough essential fatty acids to your body.

Psst, B&I is gonna yell @ you.
Anyhow, JAJF, Flax Oil is great for O-3's but not so much O-6's. Udo's choice is a good oil for overall EFA's.

exactly.
you can use flax oil for your primary omega-3 source, and then something like olive oil, peanuts (natural PB), etc... for your omega-6 and omega-9 's.
sunflower seeds and safflower oil are GREAT sources of Omega 6 fatty acids. they have 2x the omega 6 fatty acids as peanuts...
