View Full Version : 25 days to SHREDS

10-01-2002, 11:25 PM
Well....we're going to see if I can do this. The contest is on the 26th in Ohio. It's a natural NPC tested event. I'm going to find out what my BF is tomorrow. I mainly want to do this show for more experience, but I also want to get to know how my body works a bit better.

Here are two pictures taken just now. Day 1. I'll take others on the 14th, then on the 24th or 25th to chart my progress. I'm really psyched for this, and looking to do well. I may not come in at tip-top condition, but I'm going to make sure I don't look like some jerkoff. I'd much rather come in flat and dry than smooth and looking like ****.

10-01-2002, 11:34 PM
good luck buddy! would be cool to see someone already cut up get even more shredded!

10-02-2002, 02:43 AM

Sleep: 8.5 hours.

I did some abs, 3 sets I believe, nothing hardcore. I haven't trained them in a while. I just used the rotary torso for one set, then the Nautilus crunch for 2 sets. Each of the sets was for like 12 reps I believe.

15 minutes on treadmill, walking incline @ 2 MPH

10-02-2002, 07:33 PM
This other picture is from yesterday as well, my batteries died before I uploaded it. I put it next to a picture from the night before my last show. Hopefully I can achieve a condition comparable to the picture.

No, I think I'll try to come in around 170. BTW, your grammar sucks.

10-04-2002, 11:40 PM
Alex's grammar is impeccable, barring a lack of ellipses prior to his previous post.

10-05-2002, 12:02 AM

10-05-2002, 09:00 PM
Here's a ham shot, the cuts in my glutes aren't real apparent due to the crappy lighting.

10-06-2002, 01:56 AM

do you work out at home?

10-06-2002, 06:23 PM
Chase, let's face it.....your legs are just fookin' awesome. When your upper body development catches up with your lower, you will be tough to beat onstage.

Have you always had big legs?

paco wilson

You know...I really don't know what my legs were like, I never really looked at them prior to a year and a half ago. They've always been strong though. I do recall them looking like string beans when I ran cross country, but at 5'9 and 115 pounds, I imagine that's all I was.

No, torso is looking like shiat. Can't tell if it's water or fat.

10-06-2002, 06:46 PM
Here's a shot of my calve. They're looking inredible (for me obviously) I've never had calves worth a ****, I'm just excited I'm finally gain some shape. I've been making up with hardwork where I've lacked genetically. My face has been covered with tears my last 6 or 7 calve workouts, they hurt so bad my eyes just start watering.

10-06-2002, 07:34 PM
enough fookin' seats on that couch in that room?

10-06-2002, 08:01 PM
Gotta have them to be able to acommodate all the ladies and accipter and belial

10-06-2002, 08:16 PM

10-06-2002, 08:17 PM

10-06-2002, 08:18 PM
Leave me out of this!

I mean. At least for tonight. I have a headache.

10-06-2002, 08:19 PM
sex helps cure headaches...don't you ever read general chat?

10-06-2002, 08:19 PM
Alright, that just broke the thread of heterosexuality holding this whole thread together.

10-06-2002, 08:21 PM
wait.....where did you see heterosexuality in this thread at any point? Are you blind?

10-06-2002, 08:25 PM
True...are you and belial out of the closet now?

10-06-2002, 08:35 PM
well I was tired, but he insisted we stay in there for one more go-around

10-06-2002, 08:39 PM
He's so pushy.

10-06-2002, 08:41 PM
I was doing most of the pushing ;)

17 and a 475 deadlift. Jesus Christ. Great job, dude. you're looking great.

10-06-2002, 09:54 PM

10-06-2002, 10:59 PM
I'm gonna go pull a bit

10-07-2002, 07:36 PM
Monday; 10-7-02

Sleep: 9 Hours.

I felt like **** today. Threw up after I worked out, too much caffeine, too little carbs.

I did quads...didn't keep track of much, infact I barely remember it, I squatted ATF, did a nautilus leg press and a paramount glute machine and that was it I think. No cardio today, I'll do some tomorrow.

10-08-2002, 02:31 AM
I reckon you should be doing shiort 30 m sprint intervals. Get soem calf and hamstring size, while stripping fat

I've already lost 3/4 of an inch of my waist after 2 sessions - 2 weeks - groovy :)

10-08-2002, 04:20 PM
Tuesday; 10-8-02

Love reading your contest updates minus the rampent gay remarks littered throughout your journal.

10-08-2002, 06:07 PM
*bans everybody*

10-08-2002, 09:16 PM
Ahhh yes....fever has come down....hopefully all will be well soon.

10-09-2002, 08:14 AM
Well. It's Wednesday morning. I feel better. My temperature is down, but now I'm in ridiculous pain with my neck and back, probably from restless sleep with my head to one side all night. My throat is feeling a little sore now though, I just really want to recuperate and resume training. Hopefully if I spray a bunch of echinacea down my throat throughout the day, I'll feel better.

10-09-2002, 08:36 AM
oh MAKI BEHAVE! *slaps butt*

10-09-2002, 08:46 AM
Hope you feel better real quick Chase. I feel for ya....getting sick always throws a monkey wrench into training. If nothing else you can work on your diet while you get better and shed some bodyfat.

10-09-2002, 09:37 AM
Well, now I'm throwing up. Atleast I know I won't eat any excess calories. I feel better after puking.

10-09-2002, 09:26 PM
My freaking head feels like it's going to explode!!!!! It's a good thing nothing is wrong with my stomach, I can still diet anyhow....but there's no way I can train while like this.

10-10-2002, 12:32 AM
Dammit that suck BCC. Hope you get better soon so you can get back on track. I was getting sick myself a few days ago and I upped my Vitamine C and water intake and it went away. Call your doctor and ask him for some of that cold codine syrup it always works for me, fast!
Get better.

How bad are your neck and headaches? Is your neck really stiff? How high is the fever? Any rashes on your body? Maybe you have menningitus. I'd go see a doc if I were you. Although it's not a likely season for menningitus...

10-10-2002, 08:40 AM
My head hurts everytime I move my eyes, and I can't move my neck from side to side and my throat is sore. The fevers been between 102 and 103. But no rashes on my body.

Maki Riddington
10-10-2002, 10:40 AM

Mystic Eric

Go see a doc. Seriously.

10-10-2002, 02:32 PM
Still wanting to compete despite my illness.

10-10-2002, 02:47 PM
your quads are getting good and lean, dude... the medial heads especially look like bloody cantaloupes!

Shreddage won't be far behind once you drop water. :D

good work

10-10-2002, 04:20 PM
Quads looking good as always...how are your hamz compared to your quad??

Hope your feeling better soon, if its allergies hit the doctor get a shot it will before quickly.

10-10-2002, 06:50 PM
I'm feeling a lot better now, although my throat is still a bit sore.

Hamstrings are now right in line with everything else. I think I'm doing well.

10-10-2002, 06:53 PM
Nice shirt :D

10-10-2002, 07:07 PM

10-10-2002, 09:17 PM
hey! you just photoshopped your head onto my body

10-10-2002, 09:28 PM
stfu, don't ruin this for me man

10-10-2002, 10:17 PM
BCC, Sounds to me like you had a virus. Fever will probably cycle 1 more time, and then it'll all be gone.

Anyway... legs are looking great. Is it me or perhaps the lighting or angle, but your left calf looks smaller than your right. Either way. Legs are looking great.

10-11-2002, 01:31 PM
Legs are looking unreal, out of this world in fact!

How have you altered the way you work out to accomodate eating less, im currently trying to cut but my workouts seem crappy as my energy levels have dropped.

10-11-2002, 02:56 PM
Well damn...I haven't worked out for a while so I don't know. I still eat 7 meals a day, so energy is never really a problem, I make sure I get my carbs before and after my workouts. Plus with the amount of thermogenics I take...energy's not much of an issue.

10-12-2002, 03:22 PM
I bet you could drop kick a 4 square ball pretty far with those legs, I'm damn jealous.

10-14-2002, 08:13 PM
