I have just finished my first cycle of HST. I will be doing Strategic Deconditioning for the next 2 weeks. I decided to start cutting up for the summer starting from tomorrow, but then I realized that being in a caloric deficit, and not training will most likely result in muscle loss. So....what should I be doing diet-wise during these 2 weeks of no training?
Should I just eat at maintenance, with a high protein intake?

Also, I have just bought an ECA stack. If I use the ECA stack during the next 2 weeks of eating at mainenance, is it posible to lose fat?

use the 2 weeks as a rest peroid.

you may keep more muscle mass for those 2 weeks by not trianing as trianing can be catabolic.

yeh i am using the 2 weeks as a rest period...that's what the strategic deconditioning is.

The question I was asking was actually: how should i be eating during the 2 week rest period? i.e: at maintenance, or is it safe to be in a caloric deficit while not training and still not lose muscle?

make sure you get enough protein, id eat the same except exclude your post workout meal
