What is it?

Is it some processed crap?

It's not bad...some commercial applesauce has a lot of sugar, but if it works into your diet that's not such a bad thing. There's a lot of worse things you could eat :)

Wasn't that 'Powersauce' or something?

well if i remember correctly, the powersauce bars didn't help him.

anyway, while applesauce is better than some things, is it actually good for you?

I agree. Make sure you stick to the "natural" applesauce because it will not have any added sugar. Comparing applesauce to apples is like comparing oranges to orange juice. Applesauce is more calorie dense and probably lacks the fiber of a whole apple due to the skin being removed.

There is still a decent amount of fiber in applesauce. As long as its natural its good stuff.
