I've been on this forum for awhile and decided it is time for me to start a journal. I am in my 11th month of training. For the past 10 months I have been bodybuilding, which I enjoy a lot. But I am giving powerlifting a try for awhile now. I like doing both I mean they are both lifting. I feel small now I thinks its in my head because I dont think Im growing on the Westside routine and I dont like that because I want to be huge.
Had a funny day in the gym today bc it was squat day and I broke 2 of my toes 2 days ago and I was limping around and the leg and back exercises were very uncomfortable.
As of now I am still on my bulking diet but I want to cut soon I hate being a fatty. I have some pics from 3 months ago that I will post. I am 20 pounds heavier now.
Man I wish I was bbing enough of this pling. Oh well Ill give it a go.

Here is my bulking diet I have been eating the same thing everyday for many months. My weight gain has slowed down lately I think i need to add a few more cals.At first I hated this but once i got used to it its ok. I would recommend making up a diet and eating the same thing daily to anyone, because it is much easier than counting calories everyday, and also you can make huge amounts of everything and just store it in the fridge.:D

M1=1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 egg and four egg whites, banana

M2=Nlarge, bran muffin, kiwi

M3=6oz. chicken breast, 5oz. brocoli, sweet potatoe, dried apricots

m4= 3oz salmon, 2 slices of pineapple, kiwi, wasa crisp(big cracker thing) w/ 4 tbsp of peanut butter

m5=regular dinner type foods just a pretty good amount of whatever, I eat till Im full, and a glass of milk

m6=(before bed) pb&j and a glass of milk

speaking of all that it is time to EAT!

You look great. You have gained a lot of muscle and not much fat. How old are you and what are your lifts?

Interesting day in the gym today. Well for background info I lift with my brother he weighs 215 and I weigh 210,he has a better lower body and I have a better upper body. Anyways I think both of us are decently strong and have decently good physiques for the amount of time we have been lifting (11months). We are now doing Westside. Well after doing board press we moved on to skullcrushers. After my brother had done a couple sets of 10 with 100 lbs. this guy decides he needs to come up and tell us we dont know how to lift, well he was actually talking to my brother and I overheard. First he asks how old my brother is and he told him he is 17. He then tells us skullcrushers are a stupid exercise and if we do them we need to do less weight. He then says to throw away our "stupid little boards contraption because we are big enough to spot ourselves" (whatever that means). He then tells us we should really take advice from him because he knows what hes doing and has been lifting many many years and that he can bench 315 and we should come in tuesday and watch. I dont know where he got off saying anything, I mean if he considers himself a bodybuilder or does lifting for aesthetic reasons he is an idiot, he said he weighs 165 (he was probably 20% bf). On the otherhand if he lifts for strength he is a weak little b*****. We just blew him off but man I would have loved to fight him. Does stuff like this happen to anyone else?

Sorry about that. I guess I got a bit carried away with myself.

Curious, do you bench 290 lbs with free weights?

I ask because your squat is so weak comparatively, unless maybe the bench is with a machine of some sort.

Either way, you look very good.

Yep I bench with free weights I know my squat is weak I think its cause I usually use a smith machine for squats. Previously I was concerned only with size which I was putting on fine (4 inches since I started). I am working to put some more weight to my squat. Thanks for giving me crap about it now Ill work harder.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Well I quit westside today. I personally just had enough of it. I want to be huge and pling was just slowing down that goal. I also just really love the great pumps i get from bbing. I am going to continue to try to get my poundages up especially on squats. I plan to do more ham and lower back work than the avg bbing routine would contain. Oh well maybe Ill give it another go in the future.

I tend to agree with you. I like 4 day splits for getting bigger. I want to be strong, but that isn't my primary goal.

Well no training for today. I feel like crap I always have trouble sleeping. I was taking Melatonin to help me but it make my nipples hurt. It was funny but painful. Last 2 nights Ive taken Tylenol pm it works but I doubt its good for me. If anyone has advice Id like to hear it.

What joints? In the shoulder area? Just remembering your pictures and seeming to think your chest lagged some....I wonder if maybe you are getting too much of your delts involved on chest day?

I started cutting today and I am doing CKD. It is horrible all this fat is killing me I feel disgusting I mean eating this way seems really degrading. I did cardio for the first time in who knows how long. I did 15 minutes on the stationary bike, I cant run because my broken toe never heals. I had to cut down the volume on my training now too because of the lack of calories. The one good thing about this is I get to look at all the hotties in the cardio area.

Austin-
Trent and I have decided that you are not a "fatty" as you think. tuttut You have a sexy back, and Jonas seems to like hiding between your legs :omg: so you must be doing something right. I think I love You. But only because you don't like me. Carolyn and I love you a lot, and she still wants to give you a hug. Trent says He's bigger than you. You should kill him. :bash:
Love, Carrie.
P.S. Trent is the one who stole your password. And he says your farts smell :fart:
p.s.#2 Tell jonas I said Hello :moon:
p.s.#3 Well :birthday: Austin!
