ok, so my question is....

Would I be better off with the reduced fat or just the regular?
the reduced fat has maltodextrin in it I believe, so what exactly is that?

Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate...glucose polymer.

I'd get the regular. If you want less fat, just eat less peanut butter, hmm?

stick with the regular...I can't believe a company would screw up natty pb by adding malto...it doesn't make any sense

Trade off..less fat usually means more sugar.

LAM, would there be any advantage to pouring off the oil on top instead of stirring it back in? Would this make the overall fat content of the peanut butter less? I know it defeats the purpose bucause I use natty PB to get healthy fats, but I was curious.

Stir it in. It's the best part!

Ritzy...just eat less natty pb...high GI carbs w/monounsaturated fats is not exactly optimum.

If you want less fat, don't eat as much peanut butter. It really isn't that hard.

He was referring to the lowfat peanut butter in which they add extra sugar to...in this case, maltodextrin.
