Just curious if they're any good. I'm not too worried about strength, I have plenty for my current size, I just want to get more mass and lots of it. Will weight gainers give me the mass I want??? Thanks for any suggestions and comments!!!

Only thing that will make you gain mass is CALORIES!!!! So eat lots. If you think your eatting like a horse now and still you are not gaining weight your not eatting enough. I tried n-large^2 over the summer it worked alright gained like 15lb or so. But the more effective way of gaining mass I have found out after going off n-large^2 (it was too expensive fore me) is eatting ALOT.

I thought I ate enough/alot before. But now in a month I have put on 5lb of almost pure LBM. My advice is get a weight gainer if you have a hard time eatting enough (and have enough money). Other wise take it like a man and choke down any kind of clean food you can.

Weight gainer isn't a miracle supp. It's just extra calories. I'd go with whole food first, and if for some reason you can't eat anymore, take a weight gainer to give you the added cals.

Some guys I talk to think that they're going to gain muscle just because they're taking weight gainer. It's just condensed food in my book.

I think weight gainers are best used post-workout, and stick to whole foods the rest of the time.

Weight gainer is serving as my meal replacement lately.
When I wake up and have no time to eat and cook, I shake it up and take it to go.
2K cals to keep me busy till the next meal.

What are your stats?

I don't think there's a point in drinking weight-gainers if you already have the calories to spare, if you know what I mean...

Remember...protein equals muscles and these meal replacements don't usually give us the protein blast we're looking for in a meal. Check the protein SOURCE and AMOUNT...Whey is the Way.

I believe the old-fashioned mentality which tells us that healthy, whole foods is the best way to go. If you have to eat on the run, however, gainers are still pretty damn good.

Weight Gainers are exaclly that "Weight Gainers" I used them when I was trying to put on weight. I went from 145lbs to 160lbs. I can't say it was all lean mass but it helped gain more weight. I got stronger as well which in the long run helped me put on more mass. Use them if you're really skinny, trying to puton some serious weight or just want it as a cheap MRP, I would stay away from them.

I'm going to take N-Large in a few weeks to get me go from 165lbs to 200lbs, but after I cut I will weight a lot less, but it helps me break platues.

weight gains are great for hypertrophy of the waist line, that's about it. there are much better ways to increase one's caloric intake other than increasing the intake of simple sugars via high calorie weight gainers.

gaining large amounts of "scale-weight" is pointless if it's not LBM

I'm getting good results with Nlarge right now. I was stuffing my face all day, and still not gaining anything. I've added one Nlarge shake daily to my diet, and I'm gaining like 2lbs/week.

i can make my own weight gainer by mixing my whey with some malto. Add a little fructose, wow look, i just made myself some NLarge2.

I don't see the point of drinking fast absorbing protein like whey and sugar all day long.
